Watercolor on paper, circa 1958, unsigned (see provenance below), on cream wove paper, painted to the edge of the sheet; some slight toning around the sheet edge, some light surface dirt along the lower sheet-edge, and some very slight handling creases, but otherwise in good condition

Provenance: From the collection of Andy Oates, a Black Mountain College alumnus who briefly ran a small gallery in Boston in the late 1950s where Avedisian's work was shown. This drawing was part of a sketchbook (owned by us) that included other similar sepia and black wash drawings of the artist's, including a few which were signed in pencil.
